The best time to visit Fairy Meadows is from June to September, when the road is open and weather conditions are relatively stable.
Seasonal Access
Fairy Meadows is usually cut off during winter because of heavy snowfall. The jeep track from Raikot Bridge and the final hiking section generally reopen in late May or early June.
Summer Conditions
Between June and August, the meadows are lush and green. Mornings often provide clear views of Nanga Parbat, while afternoons can bring occasional clouds or light rain.
Early Autumn
September brings cooler temperatures and fewer visitors. Nights become noticeably cold, and weather patterns start shifting toward winter.
Closing of the Season
By October, snowfall may begin again, and authorities can restrict access depending on road safety conditions.
